The Children's Code, formerly known as The Age Appropriate Design Code came into effect on 2nd September 2020, with a 12-month transition period.  The Code of Practice translates the GDPR into design standards for apps, online games, and web and social media sites, likely to be accessed by children.  With 4 months until the 2nd September 2021 do you know what steps you need to take to be compliant?

Join Kellie Peters and Regina Lally on Friday 25th June 2021 at lunchtime to hear them:

  • Describe who the code applies to
  • Discuss what steps you need to take to conform with the code
  • Discuss what is meant by the best interest of the child, geo-location, and privacy by default
  • Describe the importance of translating your privacy notice(s) into child-friendly documents

The webinar is free to attend and will be recorded.  It is scheduled to last 45 minutes with time built to answer any of your questions.  If you are unable to attend because of another commitment but would like to receive the recording, simply register your interest.
